The PMDO Facility is available to sectors such as:
Eligible Borrowers
Urban Local Bodies, Special Purpose Vehicles, Concessionaires, Developers and other entities who are implementing urban infrastructure projects.
The PMDO Facility is available to sectors such as:
- Water Supply and Sewerage
- Solid Waste Management
- Roads and Urban Transport, including establishment of bus terminals, operation of transport facility, including rolling stockand other related infrastructure assets for transportation in urban areas
- Area Development, viz. Infrastructure Development for Industrial Parks, Free Trade Zones, Special Economic Zones, etc.
- Environmental Projects
- Healthcare and Education
- Governance Improvement Projects
- Funding of common infrastructure for small and medium enterprises
- Rehabilitation and Resettlement of slum tenements located in urban areas, weaker section habitations, polluting establishments and industries
- Specific urban infrastructure projects that may be considered important by the Credit Committee of the PMDO Facility for raising standards of living in urban areas and their inhabitants.
